The HQ soft does not contain a modded exe wink

Extracting the HQ Checksum code is easier than reconstructing the polymorphic VM code of the OPCOM exe.

A Execryptor packed code is easier to analyse than a PECompact one...but that is only my point of view.

You need to change FTDI Description to "OP-COM USB V2".

How will I do that? Keep in my mind that my interface came with 1.45 and I think is one of the new clones that cannot be flashed. Thanks

Mate he said to change that in ept file from FTDI
But you have to check first that your VID/PID is 0403/6001 in the device Manager
Good luck

Sorry could you explain some more? I thought ept files are used to flash my device and I read that if i flash it it will get destroyed. Also if finally I can flash my 1.45 clone and have different VID/PID I will just have to change it in ept file?

Ept file is used with program mprog3.5
U run the program with opcom plugged into
PC and read its ftdi and change etc etc

So is it safe even if I have fake chip? Also if my VID/PID is different will I just change it in ept?

RE: New op-com 120309 - mattydr67 - 02-07-2014

Mate
MProg and ept file it is to flash your FTDI chip not your PIC MCU
If you are changing your firmware by flashing your PIC MCU you'll block it
But changing the VID/PID in ept file for your FTDI chip will not affect your tool
Good luck
