I have a HN+_EU_AU_P0160 and nav.database version 8R0060884R ECE 5.11.7 in my Audi A7 2011. Can I upgrade the newest version of firmware and maps directly or is it necessary to go step by step? Where can I find these older versions ?

I had this same version in my A7 and I've updated directly to 770 and later to 783 without any problem.

With map is the same, you can install the latest version, you don't need to update it version by version, even some of us erase the nav partition for install the map "the cleanest way"

I just updated my 2012 A6 to version 0770 and maps to 6.20.4. Everything went fine! Thank you!

Is it possible to get your VIN back with these versions and the carson patch? I think I can live without it, but just wondering.

What is the safest way to install and activate Audi Maps 2015 8R0060884CH 6.20.4 ? Do I understand correctly that in order to update maps from 8R0060884AH ECE 5.13.8. to 8R0060884CH 6.20.4, I only need 32GB sd card containing unpacked 8R0060884CH 6.20.4 + seperate SD card with Patch_6_20_4_3GP_767.zip ? Don't I have to delete old maps from the green menu before installing 8R0060884CH 6.20.4?

I am a bit confused as how to run this Patch_6_20_4_3GP_767.zip? <- Do I simply boot up the MMI, wait 5 min and then just insert the SD card containing Patch_6_20_4_3GP_767.zip and it will run automatically? I don't have to go the engineering menu / update menu and run the patch from there? This part confused me in the tutorial -> "Make sure mmi is fully booted, press all buttons once and wait for initializing."

I have seen K0767 with clock at the center position. Can you change it (the position of the clock) in the green menu? Mine is on right side.

After successfully upgrading mmi firmware from P0530 -> K0612 -> K0767, now I wish to upgrade and activate maps (current version that my car has -> 8R0060884AH ECE 5.13.8.).

The car in question is Audi A4 (Avant, 3.0 tdi quattro, B8 facelift model, year,month: 2012, october) with MMI 3G+ with 2 sd card slots (no sim card slot), hard drive + DVD. The initial media version was HN+EU_AU3G_P0530 and Nav.database version: 8R0060884AH ECE 5.13.8. Car was initially sold in Germany.

i have a mmi 3g high, i update it to HNav_EU _K_0257_5_D1 without problem but when i have try to update the map to 8R0060884CH 6.20.4, the mmi can't copy all files because they are wrong copy to the sd card (i think), i bought a new card an try later.

but to activate it, i don't understand what file i'm must take ?

1. 3G (Aktivierung 2015) use only with HNav_EU_K0257_5_D1
2. 3G HDD and 3G Basic (Any Version) script by walawa75

in the walawa75 script, the .fsc is in the folder "/FSC" but if i good understund, it must be to "FSC/NAvi/0/Default/" like the "1." true ?
i can't try with the "1." beacause the zip is corrupt, i can't extract it, i download it 3 times and it the same sad

or i must backup my own .fsc file ? and how can i do this ? and where i put it ?

Hi everyone,


I got a MMI 3GP and updated firmware to HN+_EU_AU3G_K0767.
I wanted to update the maps to 6.20.4 but on the software update screen where it shows device selection it shows a '?' next to AUDI_MMI3G_ECE.

Should it show AUDI_MMI3GP_ECE and how can I change it to a 'Y'?

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

My MMI is blocked and dead... and i was in Audi of my town, and after 2 days they told me that the Main-Unit is out of use!!!

My car is : Audi A8 (11/2010), with MMI G3 Plus with HDD 30gb.
I uploaded files here below...

Map: Audi Map 2015 8R0060884CH 6.20.4
Firmware: HN+R_EU_AU_K0783_(Q3-A6-A7-A8)
Activator: Activator Map MMI 3G HDD 2015 (6.20.4 script)

After i uploaded the activator the screen of MMi goes down and nothing more for hours.
After 1 day i gone in Audi and they told me i must change all my unit and the cost is over 3.000 euro!

Somebody can help me??
