Just updated G82 to 4.40.11 with no issues, was on 4.39.20

It's not: ISTA+ 4.40.1x Install Files - MEGA (cartechnology.co.uk)

I020 added. Yes, MGU_02 is now secure coding in I020 :/

AFAIK offline ISTA will not even start to program/code if no connection to backend when even a single unit is secure coding. But I personally never tried what happens in such case.

Thanks ... I assumed I was up shit's creek as I saw MGU_02 was SC in the 7er, but wanted to validate before I let BMW service touch my car.

Is there a solution to get the backend validation by any way ?
If not, it does mean that's the beginning of the end of FDL coding ?

Some people has access and can do secure coding in china.

FDL coding is not possible for such units, but FA coding is already possible and works well using our own solution. Maybe we will introduce this feature for *active* users of our portal someday...

Do you need more sources after what Mr.Vit and Johnny said? biggrin

Well that's no source at all. Just another statement. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to have a working solution for FDL coding but it's just not possible except you have the missing coding files and keys
