Thanks. I thought same, but wonder why update not working. In ISTA+ icom status is "reserved " or "free", there should be "firmware" when update is ready for installing.

what do you mean only with valid license , that depends on the admin client used but it can work with any since 1.1.808.3
so like is said , any version works without loader , yes if have a valid license but that can be any version and since there are all over net it is easy to find one to use .

Maybe have the wrong end of the stick but you say you have an A2. These files are for the ICOM Next as suggested by the title. Hence why your system is saying it is not for your Icom.

I have tryed to update the icom next to this last firmware , without succes , can anybody explain hot to update the old fashion way ? http://ip-of-the-icom:60080 , root ... pass ... and firmware update , alocate the icom .... and ( here is my problem ) i don't know that file shoul i chose for the system and for the aplication ! can anyone enlight me ?!

The file names are diferent from the icom 1-2 to the icom next !

System = ICOM_Next-rootfs-XXXXXX.tar.gz
Application = ICOM_Next-app-XXXXXX.tar.gz
Obvious really from the filenames.

Hi all, a friend of mine updated his ICOM next with the files provided here and now it is not working. All the lights are red and ICOM keeps rebooting. Do you know any solution to this, is it totaly bricked ?

Hy,
Disconnect the ICOM from power supply for many minutes, connect thePC per LAN cable any try it once more time.
If it dont work test the restore funktion->-Link-
Edit: Is it a real ICOM or a china ICOM??
