Just take decent PC I7 processor 32GB DDR3 ram and 2X 500GB SSD than installation take not more than 1 hour max

Hello! I tested ista d+ on bmw e39 and bmw e70 with original icom and a clone. here is what i have managed to conclude.
-on both cars i don't get the mileage(with older versions this was not a problem)
-you don't get the finished vehicles list. ( is useful if you have more than one cars in shop)
-on bmw e39 i get a list of all modules available on the series, not just the one that are supposed to be on the car, they are grayed out,but is annoying
-if you disconnect icom during reading or deleting errors, you cannot break operation and close the sesion. you have to force close ista d.

Do I have to run both vcredist 2010 x86 and x64? And same with vcredist 2013 x86 and x64?

For me on win7x64 it was all of those except for vcredist 2010 x86. It had me confused for a bit because I was only installing x64 stuff until I realised I needed vcredist 2013 x86 and that I could actually install it.

Hello i think the discussion in this thread is about Standalone ISTAP an Rheingold.
I copy the files to my hard disk an all works fine without install of ISTAP or Rheingold ... only Network Tool and Ediabas if needed.
As i wrote i have no problems i use the ISTAP Loader and all is fine.
