You do not need to dump the fsc from your car, just apply the activator. For everyones info i did apply the fsc today to the version posted above. No problems at all, everything worked.

For the 3GP version the activator is not only injecting the FSC file but also set's the VIN number to 0
This means that online-traffic services will stop at some time and can't be activated again.

Thank you for your answer. I think I'll wait a bit more before doing an actualization, because my map is not so old (6.17.4) and traffic information is important for me.

Hello Reboq,
I already have new maps successfully installed on my A7 3GP and I do not have on-line traffic installed on my car so there is no damage without VIN number. I'm just curious what would happened with my maps if I activate VIN number in the hidden green menu after patching the maps.

I did it and it doesn't active it
seems that you need an official activation for activate it first time.

In The Netherlands there is a possibility to update navi for 99Eur. So I left my A6 at a dealer yesterday to get the latest navi update. They were trying to do it for the all day without success. Finally they sent a message to AUDI GER why it didn't work??? And today they replied that my MMI SW (783) doesn't work with the update, the update is not accepted by the SW simply. They asked if any dealership has done the MMI update for me before and why. I answered I've done since I had problems with BT
They were to come back to the previous navi version 5.25 because of the problem
I wanted to update my maps officially but now I will have to do it with manuals from this forum.
SW 783 is not fully approved by Audi. However it's been release somehow and why.
Maybe just to find people who do the updates by themselves only

Have you all firmwares to MMI 3G/3G+/Touch/RNS ? Please help. thanks.
