I am wondering, what version of maps do I need to download (and where can I get them) for Audi A1 RMC Navigation? It is not the same as 3G+, so that maps in the first post does not fit this device.
I saw that there is new firmware on that link for firmwares in the first post. Latest version is RMC_EU_K13464, and the car current version is RMC_EU_P12321. But that is the firmware, I don't know what to do with maps. I think that maps are usually on the SD card (part no.: 8V0919866C for EU maps), but I don't have any SD card containing any maps :\

I'd like to ask, am i good to go with:
1. update fw directly to HN+R_EU_AU_K0770
2. update map to 8R0060884CH 6.20.4
3. activate with patch in folder: Patch_6_20_4_3GP_770_783 (folder besides _MACOSX)
On it:
Audi A6 2012 MMI3GP
HN+R_EU_AU_P0532
8R0060884AH ECE 5.13.8
no audi connect (online traffic)
without Green Menu and VCDS

Hi,
I can confirm that it works, A7 (4G) with same versions,
just follow the instructions !
And make sure you use the correct fw and activator files,
if you do that no problem.
Select wrong files and you can brick your MMI,
so be very careful and read the instructions, got it ?
I first updated fw to 0770, in one step from P0532 (P=factory K=update, same content),
this car has ALL options (including B&O stereo) so it had to update 16 modules
took ca 1,5 hours !
Connect a good battery charger !
There has been some reports of problems with BOSE sound systems so check for that.
Newer fw works ok with olders maps, so if you only have problems with
bluetooth, like phone connections, fw update is enough.
Used it like that for some weeks, all ok,
I think the cameras got sharper and clearer.
MMI starts faster a bit quicker in general.
Then updated map to 6.20.4
Tested, it works for a couple of minutes,
then stops, reboot works for a couple of minutes.
Oh sh*t what have I done !?
Read the insructions, DUH!
Next used the activator script, now navigation works again
with the latest map.
New nice stuff:
If you get a script to activate the green menu, you can activate NAD,
it will enable simultaneous connection of calls on your phone(BT) and data
connection using SIM in the MMI slot, really nice feature.
Not working: since there is no longer a VIN
myAudi connection is lost, so you cannot send waypoints etc.
from the account and you cannot send
map info directly from google maps (running on PC or phone) to the car,
which is a very easy and good feature.
You can still use the vanilla online services like news, fuel prices,
google map overlay in the navigator etc.
But online traffic is not working due to the missing VIN.
I will test the VIN-patcher later
Acording to some sources the dealer VAG tools will get a error message
that says there is some kind of sw version error, you need VCDS to fix this.

I understand that i need the map 8R006884CH but
with activator do i need to use ?

You can use the 3G HDD and 3G Basic (Any Version) script by walawa75 it's valid for all 3G systems except 3GP (3G+)

Hey,
I'm having some trouble with installing the firmware update to my 2012 A6 with MMI High.
I have followed the links on p1 and downloaded what I thought was the correct firmware. When I insert the SD card into my car, the screen says a conflict has been detected. Apparently the original is 7411 and I'm trying to install 9307/9308.
Can anyone help me with the correct firmware? I can't find the correct one anywhere.
