What is the exact procedure for mb 204 with digiprog3, i tried today on 2011 w204 the mileage changed but when i disconnect the dp3 old mileage returns. Also I've read that w211 can be changed by obd without any extra work.

Go into ezs put I'm target mileage click tick go onto dash put in target mileage click tick

Correct, for the w204 you need the EZS option (it's changes ezs mileage to 999999, and then it changes mileage in odometer to the new mileage which you entered).
1. if there are errors on the display, use the CLR ERROR option.
2. with some diesels it can mess up your dpf.. digiprog cant reset it, the car will drive 80kmh maximum and you will need to reset dpf at a mercedes dealership or by someone else with mercedes star diagnosis.
3. to erase the internal service history use the ASSYST option. enter '744' days, '25000' km and press 'v' to erase history when it asks you for it.
4. it won't work if the benz has full color display, see attachment. (then you need 4.92 update.. 4.94 will not work), but if you have full color display it also should work with use of a can blocker (then use tacho diag option instead of ezs-option).
for w211: I've done lots of w211 by obd without extra work..(all manyfacturing years).. (use normal tacho diag option).
with w211 digiprog can reset dpf if error turns up.
