Desperate for help starting my Zafira B 1.9CDTI 150 Z19DTH 2006 - LikeIStoleIt - 27-03-2016

I have a zafira b 1.9cdti 150bhp Z19DTH.

It won't start (unless with a drop of easy start) and I see from opcom that the max the rail pressure reaches is about 12MPa when it needs to get above 20 I believe....anyhow:

I notice that when the ignition is on, engine 0 rpm, there is current going to the rail pressure regulator and also to the fuel metering solenoid.

Can anyone tell me what the current to the rail pressure regulator / rail pressure sensor and the fuel metering solenoid should be when: 0 rpm / cranking / idle.

If anyone can share a full range of opcom readings for the same vehicle i would be very happy. I would even drive to visit with my opcom and measure yours if you don't have opcom but do have a good running 1.9cdti / 2006 ish / Z19DTH. I'm in the bedford area.....

thanks all for anticipated help with this. I am getting desperate and my job depends on this now!

Check the injector return flow. Probably there is one or more faulty injectors.

At idle speed the PWM on the fuel pressure regulator should be round 32%.

Check voltage of fuel pressure sensor signal, below 1 volt the injectors are not operated by the ECM.

Sounds like you have a fuel delivery issue. you either have a bad fuel pump or bad power and ground problem. check for power and ground at the pump with key on. also make sure your car does not have inertia switch because if it does and it trips off power to the fuel pump will be cut off.
