2006 E60 525xi CCC CD player problem. - ninja_zx11 - 11-04-2016
Hi friends, I am having strange problem with my cd player on my E60.When i try to play cd ,after the car sits overnight or after couple of hours,i hear nothing from the speakers for 3-4 mins but i could see the song time moving,means laser is reading the song.And then after another 2-3 mins,i get little static for another 2-3 mins.Finally after 6-7 mins,CD starts playing normally as if nothing has happened and it plays just fine after that.Any suggestions please.Thanks

Hello,
buy yourself a MOST bridge and try all ECU gradually bridged. Your problem is probably a fault in the MOST communication .

Sorry i forgot to mention that all other sources work just fine like fm radio,am radio.If i select fm,it works just fine even after car sitting for few days.So this makes me beleive that something is wrong on the CD side of my CCC unit.
