Today I was strugling at least one our with one v6 chip from E-serie...no way to erase it.. headbang

and I didnt have a new chip at home so I decide to solve this as I no r270 should erase it..I played with configuration of eeprom adaptor and finaly find corect setup which erase it in 12minutes..here is picture for rework which work 100% enjoy biggrin

i cant read whats written on some of them, could u make notes pls?

i have case when it would not even write to v6 chip on non incremental area
do u have any idea what to check?

yust make rework on this adapter(I checked picture and it is visible) and install 1.20 softwere..

Some v6 don't erase for some reason best thing to do is have new blanks for when you need them

I have the same board and same smd as on your pic
What are you do can you teel as??

did you checked all smd components if they are same values as on picture?If yes than you have alredy corected adapter and dont need to change resistors.. mine was completly diferent and after rework work like a charm biggrin

but v6 chips take some time before completly erase first lines,last time I wate 15minutes.

I have a r270, full works, but i same problem with V6. New chip , resolve this problem.

Some v6 dont erase so just write to a new chip
