ISTA : How to set network adapter settings in Windows 10 to work with ISTA and ISTA/P - yzc729 - 04-06-2016
Please perform the following steps to set the correct MTU size for use with ISTA and/or ISTA/P in Windows 10.
1. Open the "cmd". ("Start" > "Run" > write "cmd" > click "OK")
2. Execute the command: netsh interface ipv4 show interfaces.
3. The list of the active network adapters will be displayed. Look for a network adapter named "LAN Connection".
4. If the MTU size of the "LAN Connection" network adapter is not equal to 1492, please execute the following command:
netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface <Interface index> mtu=1492 store=persistent
Note: <Interface index> represents the value of the "Idx" field for the "LAN Connection" network adapter.

Why do you have to do this? I upgraded to Win10 and did nothing of this Still everything works?-.

ISTA/P : The programming session fails in ISTA/P in Windows 10.
It is necessary to change the network adapter settings in Windows 10 to programme successfully with ISTA/P

I think this only applies to ispi next version with admin client license.
Should be no problems if you use the loader.

I also use ISTA/P 3.58.3.003 with Win10/64Bit with ISTA/P-Loader and had no problems..

I use Win10 Pro x64 since 1,5 years. No network changes, ENET, ICOM, Esys, ISTA/P all is ok...

Any time, anybody uses ISTA-D/P
Make sure to:
1) Turn off Windows Firewall Service
2) Run program as an Administrator
Those two thing will eliminate many errors
