N46 engine - A and s - 14-07-2016

Hi bit of a silly question but can someone help me please. Is the 2.0 n46 engine a interference engine? Can't find the answer anywhere. Cheers AL

What is an interference engine thinking

Means if the cam chain jumps teeth or breaks it can/will bend valves. And I would hazard a guess and say yes it is an interference engine. The 2.0 n42 is notorious for it but not sure on the n46.
