Peugeot 207 problem P1639 - boki - 27-07-2016
I have problem engine not start peugeot 207 1,6 hdi.
I scan with delphi diagnostic and wurth wow
Error is P1639 control relay engine EC .
please help me ...regards

Hello,
Sounds like a problem with engine fuse box. As well as checking fuses (just in case), make sure to disconnect and check all the connectors as have seen several with water in them.

Relay is in the engine bay fuse box. Cant be changed. Check for water in the connectors. Seen a lot of 207's with water damage due to screen wash bottle pump leaking. Water travels up the wires to the fuse box and wrecks it as well as the connectors.

Check the engine ecu connectors as well for water. Otherwise have you any other faults in other ecus? What happens? Does it just turn over and not fire or not even turning over? If I have reg/chassis might be able to get some accurate wiring diagrams.

As twaring said above,does it crank and not fire or not crank at all?
have you tried a bsi reset? easy to find on google,an engine bay fusebox fault should not stop it from cranking.
put key in ignition switch on,turn ign off,do not remove key,open door,do you get a beep?if yes the key is recognised,if not possible immo fault

Hi Friend,
This fault code is mostly related to your ECU. Probably it is BOSCH?
But before replacement please check your battery and fuses related to the ECU.

Hello ;
1-Check the condition of your battery and the battery terminals (Voltage must not fall below 10 volts in start-up )
2-Check THE BSM .
3-if all its ok test with other BSM this will solve probleme
