It's happens when you try to diagnose non CAN system. And system on K-Line which using not 7pin of obd2.
In cars from 2005 Xentry Passthru, almost, works fine, except X463 (for mine expirience). On older cars different ecus using different pins in obd plug. To diagnose them you need a multiplexer.

So there is no solution for read ECU for older vehicles with vas 5054?

It just reads ECUs from year 2005?
