Hi i need a little help with ofline scn coding dont know how to input coding strings in me 9.7 trying to install a new ecu in 2006 e350 vin#wdbuf87jx6x199134 this is a used engine controler programed it but it is asking for scn number where can i get that info the car will not crank and if it does it just starts and shuts off can any one help with this thanks again

Yes,ME9.7 have eeprom and flash,but I believe you need to read the eeprom only to extract the SCN coding.

You can do that with MB ECU Renew

This coding string looks like itis the variant codeing string
