F30 FEM issue after ISTA+ programming - lynxbmw - 13-11-2016

Hello all,
We've run update procedure with ISTA+ 4.01.22 with ICOM NEXT on ZGW module and after flashing a pop up appear with message which said invalid IP or so. The procedure was not completely finish before this message. The process was aborted and car was strange inoperative - dash illuminated, tail lights and when tried to switch to ignition, fuel tank and temperature gauge were not working. Actually it is not possible to switch to ignition.
Before starting update procedure with ISTA+ we saved FA with e-sys. We've tried to load this FA and read SVT which is no more possible. Reading ECU instead shows only FEM_GW and no more modules in the tree.
Does anyone have an idea if FEM can be recovered/flashed somehow?
Thanks!

Totally power off for about 30min by disconnecting battery connector and don't forget remove the charger, then re-flashing by ISTA+ 4.01.22.

@lalaura, it's not about coding FEM and by the way you have copied my instructions how to replace FEM from this forum into your blog.

Thanks @winter, but yesterday we left the car for 3 hours without battery and no change. Still cannot connect to the car, no ignition, no FA, only VIN is recognized somehow by ICOM.

Check FEM_GW in Esys. It may loss BTLD or SWFL. It is possible to flash back by Esys.

You need to reflash it by esys via enet.

if you lucky that you have backup fa but if not you need to create you fa.

by the way you can pm. me for help

I do have FA backup which i load into Esys.
On reading ecu I've got only FEM_GW as I already mentioned.

According FEM_GW SVT. It is missing one SWFL (unknow_00000000_000_000_000).
Did you program it with ISTAP?

No, I program it with ISTA+ 4.02.14 where the failure happened. I've tried to import FA to ISTAP and do reanimation, but it asked me for I-level base, which I don't know.

I level you can guess by VIN decoder
