2001 cadillac STS 93C46 location - JLR SDD - 24-11-2016

Hello can any one help em see is this correct location chip Ic 93C46 for this 2001 cadillac STS the 93C46 is hide under this bracket..??? i could not find where else on this circuit board for this model year .......i have smelecom and the smelecom not able show me the picture...............can any one help this correct location before i remove bunch mosfet and bracket out......... thanks

after i check customer man he gave wrong information ... it's 2001 cadillac Seville & SLS not STS

- so can or u any one me help me where location this EEPROM inside hide instrument cluster and what is EEPROM number .. ?? i ask smelecom they could not know

i don't know is same model year Deville or not.. cause underneath that metal bracket it's show not complete EEPROM number missing one digit starting from i can read is 3C46....and i look under or over board could not see any where else show what exactly EEPROM number for it .. i will take a pictures tonight or tommorow so i can upload so u can see better thanks

But can u check it's show u where this eeprom locate on instrument cluster...???
is that correct location underneath that bracket...?? it's a lot work to remove all components out it's paint the a$$

I do know that the mileage is stored in 93c46, and if that chip is marked like you say then that should be it. Unless it's a 68hc11 model, hard to tell because no pictures and you mention 3 models now. fail

thanks u cluster no only 1 model 2001 cadillac seville SLS..... ok i will look and see for sure 93c46 not 68HC11 model because i'ts dam hard to see it's underneath that bracket... i must remove a lot mosfet and another chips out before i can access to see this chip clearly.. but i can see is missing 1st digit start count only 3c46....

Post is fixed the problem is solve ok found it.. remove bracket and couple mosfet underneath is show 93c46 ...i am using smelecom and using difference model year sts.....correct mileage and no problem........
