BMW F10 CIC Professional reboots every two minutes - Thorsten - 07-12-2016
HI,
I have a problem with a headunit CIC Professional from F10.
This headunit was installed from OEM, car build date is 2010.
All worked fine until the headunit has the actual problem, it starts every 2 / 3 minutes.
What I made:
on car, I saw, that navigation is working, I can see the right GPS position and the map, but on music menu, section own music, it isnt working and didnt show free size of this parition.
I installed another HDD from a working headunit, but problem is still the same, so I installed the HDD back.
Next step, I tried the rescue mode with tool32, this works, headunit stayed in this mode.
So I tried to flash the headunit on table to latest iStep, because the CIC has had btld and swfl files from 2010.
I was able to flash it without any problem.
But after flashing, the problem is the same, every two or three minutes, the headunit made a reboot.
Perhaps is somebody here with more skills to fix this headunit?

HI,
On ISTA/D, nothing about head unit to find, CID with no signal and some other from car.
On desktop, only ZGW is connected with MOST to boot up the CIC.

Today our F20 went to the BMW dealer. We experienced twice that our NBT system rebooted. They told me that the system lost the configuration (file?) They reconfigured it but asked me to keep an eye on it if this happens again.
