Range Rover (L405 f.e.) change VIN good tool; AVDI didnt work - becks3 - 15-12-2016

Hello mates,
recently I got a 2014 L405 Range Rover that was stolen and recovered by the police.
The thieves managed to change the VIN.

My question : is there any good tool for changing the VIN of JLR cars?
Or any tips on how to do it?

I tried with AVDI to change the PMI, poorly it couldn't change anything.

Reading the PMI worked with AVDI, updating didnt.
It gave the error on ANY ecu at the end of upating : Couldn't connect to ecu
So something is wrong with JLR of avdi or am I doing something wrong?

I tried using SDD with writing down the original VIN at the identification, but when I try to reprogram a module it shows me "wrong vin"

Any tips or advices on how to make this job?

How does SDD read the VIN, what is the main/master Module inside a Rover that gives the VIN to the car / SDD? Maybe just swap that with a new one and reprogram every modul using SDD?

Would be very happy for any help.

Since the thieves did the job, somehow I have to do it aswell.

Greetings,
Becks3
