VW T5 - retrofitted camera module - number7 - 16-12-2016
I have installed RNS 510 + camera module + rear camera(4pins).
I have made wires by my own - only connectors are original.
Problem is: when I put reverse gear - image shows on 5 secound then disapear and shows message "camera not available". After eresing errors from 6C image shows on 5 sec.

Hey number7,
you will have to calibrate your camera as well.
Normally you use a floor target for this.

Video shows on 5 sec then disapeer, black screen. View is on red color or violet - not full color...

Check wiring, maybe there is no wire, video should have 3 wires plus earth.

I think it has to do with your wiring as i retrofitted same on my tiguan about 2 yrs ago which is still working till date without issues. As for the calibration, i read it somewhere online but i didn't calibrate,just install and working. Did you code your car to know that you have reverse camera installed
