I do not mean to Hijack this thread, but I have Mitchell Ondemand Q1 2013 and trying to install on Windows 7 and this is tough as nothing I have tried has worked. I followed instructions that came with it and no dice. It is not working at all when I install 5.8 or 5.9. It is like the 5.9 key file is not working right. Can anyone assist or provide better instructions? Thank you in advance.

Theres 2 options when installing. You can install as normal and after replace OD5.exe in C:/Mitchell1
You will not be able to use the quotes portion of the software if installed using meds file.
The second way to install is very different. Disconnect internet the run installation from the disk titled "MOD_Install_5.8.2.??" specific to your version. Now when adding data paths do not tick the box for repair only tick the box for estimator.
It will try to go online and will provide you a pre-activation code. Run keygen and enter code to complete install.
Now you add the repair data paths and go through activation code process again, then your done.
I uploaded the keygen you will need to make activation. I also included the MOD Install file and the OD5.exe fix I assume may be specific to 5.8.2.35 but I have not tried mix and match. Keygen method works for all.

I got a bunch of files but most are with the *.daa file extension. I do not know how to install those files. The second thing I am using the "Portable Version" that is provided and well that is working, but I am not able to add the discs as they are that *.daa file extension. The instructions are not complete and for newbies like me I would love to know how to install this and use and would love step by step instructions on how to do this. The files you sent helped a lot. I would just like to know why the files are in the *.daa file format /extension. Thanks again!

You need to convert the files to iso format first then extract them or you can install poweriso and make enough virtual drives to mount each disk.
I converted mine with DAA2ISO from aluigi.org
Then I extracted each one to its own folder.
