+20% on top of that since 566 is the actual cost and dealers have to make some profit. Also most online stores won't sell it even though it shows up as available

Fair points. I saw BMW of Fairfax Virginia online parts store list it for $566 as well, and they are pretty good at getting the parts ordered. There are ~1699 available worldwide.

Partacus.de lists them as available, bit they aren't.
So be aware of what is written on the internet.
Prizes are varying from dealer to dealer.

If you are in the USA, BMW of Fairfax has the best prices http://www.bmwoffairfax.com/order-parts-online.htm (if not, at least for an example). I have used them many times for parts.
Not sure why there are people getting delays, as there are many available.

There is no clone of the ICOM Next so it cannot be cheaper to buy original from BMW
The supposed ICOM Next clone is A2 in Next housing.
The clone ICOM A2 are now around 350USD including wifi, ICOM B and ICOM C and all cables, these are much cheaper than the original A2 on it's own.
