Hi,
thank you for your new updates and the 1.7 manual.
I think i'm ready to uptate, but would you verify my plan, please?
Earlier i made an update to K770 FW and a 2015 map with Carson’s patch, so this is my starting point (3GP).
1. copy K770 FW to SD and make an EMERGENCY UPDATE (green menu/system/emergency update)
2. copy K0942 FW to SD and make a FW UPDATE (engineering menu/update)
3. delete DATABASE AND NAV HDD PARTITION (green menu/navi/databaseupdate)
4. copy 2017 map files to SD and make a MAP UPDATE (engineering menu/update)
5. copy activator to SD and let it go…

Hello,
I did uninstall keldo script with uninstaller posted on 1. post (I have K900 and 2016 maps on my Audi A7). The Script did run almost instant (1-2sec) and after that I still have navigation active.
Before I proceed to updating firmware to K942 i would like to know it that is normal that my navi still works and how can i check if activator vas actually removed?

All done and succeed!!!
I have updated first mmi firmware. My car is an Audi A7 and I had versión P0513. I' ve updated mmi to versión K942. Total time spended in this operation about 55 min. The only issue was that i had to re-actívate Green menu in new firmware but with script in tools that was very easy.
Then i've gone with map installation. According to guide (1.7 versión), I've delete database and nav hdd partition with Green menu. After that i've updated the maps; total time spended in that operation 1 hour and 40 min (with a micro-SD (with adapter) Sandisk Extreme 64 Gb formatted in FAT32). All have gone well. After that operation was done, and prior to run the activator, i've checked if map was working and the mmi shows message "The navigation data is not activated"
Finally, i've gone with activator. I' ve used activator for 6.24.2 maps (first page of this post. I've got 3GP MMI). In about 2 seconds the activator was done and shows message that the operation was succesful. After that i've checked again if map was working and, this time, the map was activated.
All that opperations was done with engine on to avoid battery loss.
