RE: Diacnostics software - Frog7 - 02-04-2017 Isn't the VCM-II for Ford only? RE: Diacnostics software - ratboy - 08-04-2017 Quick question, Does anyone here know what diagnostic software/ you need to read out a ECU from a 1987 GM TBI. Its OBD1 an uses a ALDL connector. It only needs to read and erase the codes in a hurry. The ecu is allready modified to accept newer chips instead of the older UV eraseable and a switch that let me choose upto 3 different programsettings for the ignition timing and fuelpressure. So for example i can have a normal, economy or sport modus. I modified the entire TBI so i can adjust fuelpressure, injection timing, spark advance. Together with the bigger police issue injectors it gives me lots of playroom to set it from stock 180HP upto 300HP if i change cams.
