E90 comfort access on drivers side doesn't working - bmw335coding - 03-02-2017
Hi guys,
my comfort access on the driver door no longer works.
no close / no open with the keyless door handle.
fault memory is clear, no faults.
another comfort access features for example at passenger's side, or driving without key in slot working.
i think the door handle is faulty.
Does anyone know how to repair it?

I noticed similar behaviour on my F10 when there is too much salt on the handle (its winter here and salt is used to thaw snow on the roads, which is then splashed by other cars onto handle. If you are in similar conditions try licking that handle
Good wash is then enough to restore function.Else I had to replace the mechanism of the handle on one E60 (used ones are very cheap) because electronic box is stupidly attached to the mechanism with single use metallic fasteners and you can't remove it without pretty much ruining the plastic on which they are holding.
