Speed limiter - qtecautolabs - 12-02-2017

Good day all,
can anyone with experience give me a guide? Is it possible to implement speed limitation on vehicles by making and implementing modifications on the vehicle ecu? If there are, how do i do this? Are there refernce materials? Are there applicable software and hardwares for this purpose? I will appreciate all inputs.

Thanks.
Chris

Yes it is.
What is the car brand and model in question?

There is an opening for speed limitation in my country and the government is bent on implementijg the speed limiter. I will need a solution for all type of brands. Can we look at Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen and ford for starters as these are the most common commercial vehicles in my country.

Ah, commercial cars, that's more normal. I assumed regular passenger cars. Problem is, those same citizens will come to forums like this and learn how to remove it.
What government is this?
