Dme only firing on one cylinder - spanaz1 - 09-03-2017
Hello guys,
i have a bmw e36 318 M40, i got the car without dme on it so i bought a red rebel dme 0 262 200 520, but when i try to start the car it is only firing on cylinder number 1. spark and fuel injection. i have checked almost all wiring but they seem ok now i think the dme is dead. am thinking of maybe trying to change the transistors responsible for spark and fuel but i dont know which are they, can some one please point me to the right direction....thank you

Check timing, cam sensor, crank sensor, Wiring, EWS
Check Main Ignition Coil
Check ground(s) on injectors, if you Have Power Probe 4 easy
Check attached picture, look for those components on ANY ECU/DME/ME cars
Also sometimes when car senses that if it's off timing, if injector, if coil is not working it shuts-down per-cylinders (can be easily checked/search on v12)
Check OS/2 sensors, based off OS/2 sensors readings DME/ECU determinants to open/close injectors, when and how much base or out-put/raw fuel

Change the Defect3ed FET on the ECU
