Hi fellows did any of you tuned their f10 m5? i heared some people does it wo drilling the ecu? and what tools do we need?

I tuned many of them.

Drilling is not a good idea for that kindda ecus for me.

I used CMD with FXX tool.

why does people drill them if there is a way arround?

i have bdm100 xprogm and gellatto 4 a china, any way i can do it my self?

Available are CMD and X17 - both with f-series pluginsmile

After unlocking in Bootmode - yes.

CMD does it automatically.
But it won't help you as you need CMD too for writing over OBD (Ethernet protocol) to make correct checksums.

With your tools, reading/writing is not possible.
None of the tools can read password or can calculate checksum

Can make you 690HP, 860Nm tested tune. If you like with dyno protocol.

local tuners asking arround 2k for a tune i was wondering if there was a tool for the price range where i could do it my self
