Ista/p install stuck - tonemoz - 15-04-2017
Hi,
I have seen an issue when installing ista/p the installer seems to hang on prepare system. It has extracted files ok. The installer is still running however it cannot complete the next part of the process.
Does anyone know how to resolve this without reinstalling windows? (The installer works fine on a fresh windows install)

How long have you waited? It takes very long time, especially on version upgrade.

Its been running over 24 hours. Its on Bmw isid r2 windows 7

Ok, 24 hours is a bit too much, though not sure how fast is isid r2. My laptop takes a good part of the day (so like 8-10 hours) to upgrade version. Fresh install of a new version is a bit faster.

ok , so isidr2 ,---- I am given once decommissioned from a buddy 1st thing I did was try reloading all offline stuff had similar problem , my fix was new hard drive as these machine run pretty much 24/7 no sleep if setup correct try new hard drive , or run a system check with any of the free checkers around just ask uncle google if unsure, hope this helps.
