Hello. I bought galletto v54 cable and tried to read my ecu. But a cable was let loose and a spark struck in the dde. So the car does not start now.
Can I buy a used ecu with the same reference and run the car?
Right now the diagnosis tells me that there is no voltage in the ECU.

hello you could buy used ecu but will need programming.
what car is this for ?
Also post picture or 2 of ecu might be possible to repair

My car is a bmw 520d 177 cv 2009 year, ecu edc17cp02.
Ecu is this refference bosch 0281016067.
If I buy ecu with this refference and I programming with ista-p for example, is it good?

Hi
it is not enough ,because ISTA P does not program the secret Key (ISN) and the car does not start.
If you could read the old ECU you could copy to new one, but without been able to read it is more difficult,you should try to read it with kess or Ktag tool.
If the car is manual you can do immo off after programming with ista P and everything works,or buy ECU+CAS+KEYS from another car. ,if it is autobox it is a lot harder.

Need to do immo off
can be done in mcu flash
read it in boot mode with ktag do immo off and flash it back in boot mode
tested and working

Cannot program used ecu on bmw with bmw oficial tools !!
ecu with same sw hw number will be ok but must remove immo of create ecu files with isn from your ews , cas, and write it in replacement ecu.
remove immo is from replacement ecu ecu is more simple and faster solution

If u can read Eprom from your DDE end read Eprom from your CAS3 i can solve your problem.
If u have Autohex or BMW explorer u can do all this by OBD
