Xentry image for CF-19 - lucag - 02-08-2017

Hello,

anybody have a Xentry image for a Panasonic CF-19?
I encountered a issue with the original installation, a virus called sality.at, that injects code in windows root files, turns off antivirus and firewall via reg keys modification, and prevent the pc form starting in safe mode. any attempt in fixing only resulted in further virus spread.

I have wiped it clean and with an Acronis backup image from this forums (BIG THANKS) performed the installation. this is an image for a dell d630, and on a dell it works perfectly.

On the Panasonic CF-19 due to difference in drivers it does not work.

I tried with a xp windows boot stick to make a windows repair, that will at a point allow me to install proper, or generic drivers, but this is asking for an administrator password for C:\Windows\

This is weird as the password is never requested when the hard drive is in a dell d630.

Anybody have any idea, any suggestion?

Please help.

Hi again. The download cannot be completed form the provided mycloud.com location.
After 2 days of continues download even with gigabit internet connection this did not complete. I is now a partial download at around 18 gb .
the url is now trowing an error. do you happen to have a possibility to load it anywhere else.
Or maybe the other colleagues that have downloaded the file, can provide a different more reliable download solution.

Thank you

I was able to download it and perform an backup restore with acronis 2017 trail.
In the CF19 when Windows is loading if briefly shows a blue screen and then restarts.
In a dell d620 the same SSD it boot up and ask for a password for the user STAR as the current is expired, but one is not allowed to change it. Permission denied. Admin does not have a password and login in to that you ca remove the Star Password easily.
However it still does not work in the Panasonic CF 19. It is a MK2 i think, a bit improved by the Chinese seller wiht 2 gb or ddr2 ram and 1.20GHz dual core.

what am i doing wrong?
i need help. any advice is appreciated.

Maybe i am not doing the acronis recovery ok. so i copied the .tib file from you loki954,
on a external drive, i make on another usb a rescue usb (thats how it called in acronis true image 2017 trial) and with that rescure usb booting the cf19. i select acronis (not the 64bit one of course) and the restore backup. it then ask me to select the partitions, i do that to match the ones from before....with (star )as primary and then proceed with eh restore. all goes ok.

restart brings up win xp boot up logo and after 5 second blue screen.

behavior is the same sin safe mode or last know good configuration.....

any suggestions? bios maybe?

I have made it work finally!!!.
So Acronis universal recue boot in needed, as it lets you trhu it user frendly Linux interface, inject drivers before windows boots.
Done that, then with a winxp bootable disk started the normal process of windows installation (not repair from the main menu as that for some reason asks for a password for windows directory)
At some point it detects that on that drive a windows xp is already installed, and asked if you wish to repair it, and i choose that. wait wait wait because it`s not win10 to install mega fast.... and then its just a matter of activation xentry.

What drivers did you have to inject to get it to work on your CF-19? I have a D630, but would prefer to use my CF-19 as it is smaller and can work as a tablet.

Thanks.
