My comfort module is 8K0 907 064 CQ with firmware 0437. (Q5 2009 CDNC)
What is the latest firmware I can update it to??
I have noticed that there are 2 types of firmwares e.g.
8K0907064___0530_S.sgo
8K0907064___0530_E.sgo
or
8K0907064___0633_S.sgo
8K0907064___0633_E.sgo
Does anyone know what is S and what is E?? Is it related to the hybrid version???
In ETKA part 8K0907064CQ it says see parts bulletin 9-101. Not sure if something additional can be found there.

Is it E for E-tron (hybrid)
S for standard??
Anyone?? (It makes sense to use the S if I would pick one using common sense)

Are you sure if this File is compatible for you ecu?
You try to flash a ecu were a Engine Protection is Inside also,so if the flash fail you Cant Start the car.
What is the Reason to flash this ecu?

A friend with the same Comfort unit (8K0907064CQ), who has also retrofitted keyless, bought also a new comfort unit but came with firmware 0530.
Flashing of comfort unit has to be done with blinkers (hazard lights) on.
Not sure what improvements are made.
I cannot flash with SVM. I will loose keyless entry function (I also do not think that I can find an SVM in ERWIN due to my vehicle being 2009). ERWIN might get updated with my new hardware but I am not sure.
So I wanted to know mostly what E and S means, and maybe latest applicable firmware.
Something going astray is a major factor to think about, when I have all the information and hardware I need I will consider this. I am more afraid of flashing gateway offline, which will cause more problems than comfort unit.

Due to limited information on this subject, I will stay with firmware 0437. When I asked at a german forum what is the latest for prefacelift the reply was 0437. I do not have ETKA parts bulletin access or any TPI to confirm any higher firmware number update.

I want to flash 8K0907064GF 0633 up to KF 0711.
Which file I have to use? 8K0907064__0711_E.sgo or 8K0907064__0711_S.sgo

prefacelift or facelift?
In either case (unless hybrid) use S. Note prefacelift is up to firmware 0437
