Honda J2534 passthru ECM reprogramming - apoelistas - 15-09-2017
This is last version I have. Might be handy for checking (well and flashing) if you have pending firmware updates. You can use any passthru J2534 mvci. If you wish to know the version please send PM.
You can also flash but I do not recommend it. You might need to reprogram after the update (e.g. VSA update) so use it only if you have the respective SB in hand and HDS otherwise don't flash. I used it only to check each ECU if a firmware update exists. Then you can visit your Honda Dealer to update the relevant firmware.

My laptop harddisk will be formatted so sharing app no longer available to download from Honda public website. Monopolistic reasons?? I wonder.

This is from April 2016, there is a newer version on this site from April 2017.

Are you referring to rewrite? This is the last passthru J2534 mvci before it was changed to rewrite and became incompatible with my device. Check the date of the database for more info.
Was April 2016 version 4.04 or 4.09??

Ah my apologies, I was thinking of the ReWrite Software. Was unaware that this Passthru software existed.
If you don't mind me asking, how does ReWrite differ from Passthru? I don't have any Hondas in the shop to test at the moment.

No problem and no worries.
Rewrite can be used by compatible hardware only I think.
However if you have the above J2534 passthru, extract rewrite and substitute the passthru database and flash files, and you have the latest passthu J2534 version. This way one can update the passthru app from the rewrite app.
