Trafic 2015 eps - pablopete - 24-09-2017 Evening all, renault trafic 2015 crash data, but in the power steering pump? would this be plausible or not, i have around a dozen pumps removed from damaged vehicles, but the pump itself isnt damaged, i am thinking that once the airbag has deployed the power steering pump goes with it? has anyone come across this? as i wouldn't expect a pump to fail at this new stage cheers Pete RE: Trafic 2015 eps - CHIKODIAG - 24-09-2017 Hi have you erase the fault with renault can clip? RE: Trafic 2015 eps - pablopete - 24-09-2017 Hi there yes, i have clip and have removed codes relating to eps, but still wont work, if i leave the airbag module with crash data present on the vehicle and swap pump for another one (known working) then all is ok, if i put the "faulty" pump on another vehicle still wont work, i suspect that its not the pump itself thats failed but that it may also have crash data??? RE: Trafic 2015 eps - CHIKODIAG - 25-09-2017 HI in new renault car whene it have a crash it will not start intel you do a diagnosic for all ecus and erase the fults the car start and all work even whene you have the crash data stored in the airbag ecu i have done a lot i have never see this fault in the steering if you can open one of them and see what eprom/ flash it have and you can swap or read/waret the good file from the good one to the faulti let mi know GOOD LUCK RE: Trafic 2015 eps - pablopete - 25-09-2017 Ive got one with the bottom off on the bench, i will have a look at the board and see whats on it, its an odd eps pump as its not the same one that is used on all the new renault cars i know about the fault code clear before start, it can be a cheap way to buy one that wont run |
