Fuel Tank Leak Diagnosis Problem - 2007 BMW X5 3.0L - TeflonDon - 18-10-2017 I have attached a pic of the issue below. When reading faults with ISTA + / Rheingold I received the results below. Vehicle is a 2007 BMW X5 3.0L 002A17 DME: DMTL, system fault When carrying out the test plan over 5 times with the gas tank at 50%, the test plan doesn't finish. The very first time I saw the fault on Saturday and suggested replacing the "Leak Diagnosis Pump" Right now I'm just trying to have repeatability so I know the pump needs to be replaced but I keep getting a message while running the test saying that I'm refueling the vehicle so the test stops.... Any Ideas. Thanks in advance for your responses. Flash DME to ECE program disconnect DTML connector. No need to replace DTML. The cheapest way to solve this problem. |
