EGR Off Seat Leon 1.9 TDI 105HP BLS - hko1971 - 24-10-2017

Hi

Please check and add EGR Off to this file

I have this modified file, i was told that it had EGR off, but it seems that this is not the case.

Now I am not sure if it is a good tune at all, I have used it for some time, but it have given me some problems with clogged DPF and EGR.

Are You able to help me check if the modification is ok.
And if it is ok, please add EGR Off.

The car have been tested with 151,3HP/313,2Nm with this file.

Thank You

/Henrik

I get rar archive damaged, tried winrar and 7zip

so is this the same car you asked for free tuning in other thread? if file have no egr off then cannot clog your egr

if you have egr off, can clog dpf

you also stated you had fault code from broken egr cooler? now is files fault?

I had this file for some time, I got it from a tuner website.
It should have both stage1 and egr off.
It startet to give med DPF fault, I then forced DPF regenerate.
Aftet that i got EGR error, I have replaced the EGR valve and 2 of the sensors in the vacume system, also the pressure sensor on the DPF
But I still get the EGR error.

001027 - EGR Valve (N18)
P0403 - 000 - Malfunction - MIL ON
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 11110000
Fault Priority: 1
Fault Frequency: 60
Reset counter: 255
Mileage: 326720 km
Time Indication: 0
Date: 2000.00.00
Time: 16:45:24

Then I got Your file, and the error is gone, so I suspect that the file never had EGR off, the error is temporary so I suspect that the EGR cooler is clogged.

NB.
If i have broken some rules asking for additional modification, I apologize, and please delete my thread if that is the case.

/Henrik

Ok im a little confused, the file you have posted in the 'zip' is 100% original

You used this website tuning companies file and initially the car ran fine for 'some time' then all of a sudden you have EGR/DPF issues and now want to blame file

the car has done 326720km and has original dpf?

you used my file and all is ok, but dont want to keep using it?

Ok it was proberly a longshot, but as I understand, the egr redirect exhaust into the inlet to reduce combustion temp, but lower temp is not good for the dpf. If the combustion temp is higher (eg. EGR off) it is better for the dpf, and it is less likely to clog.

my car has done a lot of km without any modifications, so it would proberly have happend at sometime anyway

I like your file and would like to keep it, it feels like it have more power over 2000 rpm than my old file.

Thank You
