Question EVO+ATM - inspi1981 - 07-01-2018
Hi guys, we need some advise from PRO's
Friend of mine retrofitting EVO to his E91. So far so good.
Now he get ATM modul.
So question is: can he somehow(soldering, etc...) connect antennas from his car to ATM module? And now EVO and ATM have differrent VINs. What is best solution? Change EVO VIN+FSC pack?
Thanks for any info.
And last thing
His controller is connected to K-CAN4 on emulator. Controller works, but no answer from touchpad. It's coding related?

The evo have a connector for antena?if yes,y dont kmow that wil work

No, evo without GPS connector. HW version 3.1 model B240.
ATM modul part number 84102447787, ETK will not find it this number, VIN donor unknown.
Touchpad can bus connected direct to can bus EVO, not connected via car can. Controller works fine, but without touchpad. Touchpad in EVO menu enabled. Part number controller is 65826829082

Do you have touch ecu installed too? If you only want atm for gps, I have one arm emulator for sale. Used it in my e60 with no gos evo id5 unit.

Gentelmen, I have EVO retroffited, I'm using ATM emulator.
Now I want to go to the next step, I'm going to retrofit ATM-telematic module to have online and remote services available. Can anyone advice how can I do it?
Do I have to pull out SIM card from my TCB module, buy ATM module and install my simcard in it?
Any help will be much appreciated.

This is a very complicated and advanced project and I recommend you contact someone professional who can do this. Or do extensive research.

OK, ATM module is installed. Ethernet connection via OABR between EVO and ATM and K-CAN between EVO, ATM and emulator. Now GPS works, but when You drive, sometimes jumps out off road. How can I connect to ATM with diagnostics tool to read out VIN? Do I need gateway?
And connection to HU keep disconnecting and connecting with 3 sec interval. Also visible, when I ping 169.254.199.99 connection

Turn off ignition and it stays up till the car sleeps.
