BMW F series US -> ECE - BimmerSLO - 17-01-2018

Hello everyone,

I need to change settings on a 6 series F model and am wondering, what do I need to change in the FA/VO ?

Is changing navigation maps as easy as loading European maps with a European FSC code?

Easy if it has NBT. Just load new map and generate FSC code for this.
A very difference story if it has NBT EVO
I would not change FA settings for this.

Ok. I have CIC. How does loading european maps work there? Just generate new FSC code for europe and load new european maps?

I have a bigger issue with instrument cluster...

Get fsc code for european map and load it.
Remove from FA $645 and $655
Change $853 to $851
Change *xxx3 to *xxx1 ( if possible)
Code KOMBI, CIC, FRM.
Read cic with fdl coding and change RADIO_IBOC to aktiv

Why remove $655 if he doesn't replace radio unit which still have satellite tuner??

If not remove $655, won't get ece frequency, still be US.
