ABOUT MERCEDES CR1 EMULATOR - spanaz1 - 09-03-2018
Hello,
I was called today to do wiring and install ECU to an old Mercedes 190 in which they have installed a M111 engine from w210 and a five speed manual gearbox. now all the wiring has been done but the ecu is Bosch ME2.0 and am trying to install an emulator to remove immo. now my Question is;
.can I use cr1 from china on this ecu? am thinking of running the HC11 E9 dump on immo universal software then install emulator. is this the collect way?
and after installing emulator they say you have to serial code the ecu before starting, is this step necessary on this car since it doesn't have CAN and no any modules to code the ecu to.

Hello, for the emulator it's good, however you have to read eeprom and follow the procedure

Your dump is perfectly fine. Put the first 8 bytes to 00. Install CR1 emulator. Perform initial startup of the ME. Done.
