no need to buy flashed one becouse atmega 64 is easy to flash new firmware you have posted all here on c.t.. 5.5.5 works but best and stable is 5.5.1

It was at the end of the last year, when I modified my XPROG and most of the time I read about strange programmers for the ATMEGA 64. No one used the original AVRISP MKII programmer with the ATMEL Software itself, I cant understand.

With this programmer it is easy to solder a new one and program the chip with the firmware ofyour choice. I would recommend the V5.51.

I still have 4 pieces in stock, so no problem to program one.
Can you resolder the chip, I ask because I saw very bad solderings over the last years.
