Flashing Audi Virtual Cockpit to factory defaults? - spyderboyant - 29-08-2018
Does anyone know the process to flash a Virtual Cockpit to factory defaults... ie brand new image, 0Kms etc...? Is this possible with ODIS-E or do you need a "virgin" eeprom image and flash via VCP or other device?

I think it is doable by reprogramming MB9DF125E chip inside the cluster with "virgin" file.
This chip has 1MB Internal Flash and 48KB Internal EEFlash (EEPROM i think) and can be accesed using JTAG.
This info is my personal observation and i'm not 100% that is accurate.

it can be programmed by vas6054 and vcp all by obd2 take around 30 min

Alex be careful, it is dangerous to use an unverified flash file. Ideally, whoever does it should write it.
