Fiat KKL interface issue - valifilioreanu - 05-05-2014 Hi GA members. I have some issues with vag com kkl interface using fiat multiecuscan software( also 1.4 and 1.7). After software installation, I plug the interface on USB and install drivers. when I go to Setings and test the interface...I get the message: " Testing latency with 200 bytes of data.... The operation has timed out." I have tried also on XP and win 7. If any ideea...please let me know. thanks' in advance RE: Fiat KKL interface issue - obdstart - 05-05-2014 (05-05-2014, 11:13 AM)valifilioreanu Wrote: Hi GA members. You have poor/bad quality components inside of interface or damaged interface, then you have high latency time on virtual com port (usb). You can try to make some settings for work interface. If you use XP tray next settings: 1) Turn on KKL interface into USB port 2) Start windows/Control Panel/System/Hardware/device manager 3) Select option COM&LPT ports and find witch COM port is your KKL interface (COM2,COM3,COM4 ??......etc) 4) Select(mark) proper COM port, then right click, then select "Properties" 5)Select "Port Settings", click "Advanced" 6) In field where write "Latency Timer (msec)" put value "1", then click "OK" and close all control panel windows with "OK" 6a) In this window also you can change number of COM port (if need) 7) Go to test interface NOTE: If after THIS settings stil no work (high latency time), then this interface is for garbage.. RE: Fiat KKL interface issue - mattydr67 - 05-05-2014 Do not forget that when you want to make the TEST of vag kkl in Multiecuscan you need to have the tool plugged into the car ( 12V supplied ) and into the USB ( btter com ports between com1 and com 4 and latency as 1 or 2 ) Good luck RE: Fiat KKL interface issue - benii75 - 10-07-2017 Or you need to modified the elm327 or vag kkl to work withouty problem with multiecuscan RE: Fiat KKL interface issue - mattydr67 - 10-07-2017 First of all you replayed into an old thread And the explanation of Mr. Obdstart is all he need it He's issue was regarding to latency not regarding tt he cannot connect to other controler on other pins then (OBD 7 ) Good luck |
