Alternative I level in ISTA-4 - 14TLC - 26-10-2018

How does this work? Or it is only available with online ISTA.

What do you mean by alternative I-Level? What is the problem?

Do you have latest I-Level overview? And you have non existing I-level?

(see answer Sedoy)

It stands in Release Notes 4.13.3x:

Execution stop with alternative I level
With ISTA 4, it is possible to set an execution stop for specific series, equipment, etc. even after installation.
This make it possible to specifically prevent vehicles in the Retailer Organisation from being updated with problematic software.
From ISTA 4.13.1x, the affected vehicle can be treated in certain cases with an alternative (older) I level.

Exactly what Sedoy wrote. I read this in the release notes. So I'm wondering how it is applicable in practice. Does only work with online ISTA? Does it mean that maybe several I Level releases will be included in one version of ISTA?

There are already integrated in the SDP files 2 I-Levels for some time. You can check this with E-Sys.

Aha. Does this mean that even with ISTA you can choose which I Level to use?

No, only if an execution stop for specific series exists (problematic I-Level). With E-Sys you can choose both.

Yep, I was wondering about this. In E-Sys I started seeing two target i-Levels for all series (except for the K's and S18A). Good to know.
