Convert CIC Japan to Europe? - scorpium59 - 28-12-2018 Hi I spent a vehicle from Japan to Europe, no problem at this level but relating to navigation etc, is it possible? Is it enough just to flash the cic and put a new image on the hard drive? Thanks RE: Convert CIC Japan to Europe? - willisodhiambo - 28-12-2018 Wont work. Hardware software incompatibility. RE: Convert CIC Japan to Europe? - scorpium59 - 28-12-2018 Some have apparently succeeded from Japan to New Zealand: I did successfully, need to do the following: 1. VO-code: [852 instead of 853] and [807 instead of 810] for AU/NZ market (this also automatically converts radio frequencies) 2. Flash HU_CIC using E-Sys (check HW-IDs from SVTactual after SVT Target calculation) 3. Replace Japanese HDD with a ECE image (google, image files available online) 4. Use SWTPatcher-v2 to activate FSCs 5. Use BMW-FSC-Generator_1_0_1_0 for map update code 6. Load 2018 AU/NZ Premium maps People are used to open topics but never finish them so it's painful. But obviously fesable seen this post: https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=30232&page=2&highlight=japan |
