BMW F32 Ecu trouble B47D20A - TilQ34 - 03-02-2019

BMW 420 F32 2014

Cars starts, fine for 5-10minutes then shuts down. Vehicle sended to Bmw and there they said probably its the ecu and wiring. So they changed it, both ===> Solved

Customer comes over couple of weeks back, car is shaking. Cause of warranty this time we called an expert, he looked at the cilinders with a scoop, he said looks like cylinders damaged, probably engine need te be refurbished.
So we send it to some one that those these a lot, also for us in the past. But now, this morning they calls and told we mount every thing we started it and it Shakes again, overhauled engine!

But when they pull out 1 of the plugs on the ecu, car doesn’t Shake, drives but without power....

He also says that the ECU(New from BMW) has been tuned, a hole in it wit a plug. Also I saw that before but wasn't sure...(attached)

Now just talked with owner again and he admitted it.

But a week ago they call me from BMW and I've been told that the ecu(1st original-one) has been tested and works correctly after an update or something else not sure, will ask it tomorrow when  pick it up.

If I send the ECU to the people who has the vehicle now and Plug&Play it on the vehicle, would it fire up....? I think yes, but maybe any experiences...

wtf.. rofl dealer mount used ecu using  boot mode ? about that ecu all depend what thay do before..if isn stay the same car will start.I would also flash this cars ecu by esys or ista to stock and make sure car is not sufer from bad tuning

No dealer mount new ECU and wiring. Problems were gone.
After that did the customer tuned the car(We know it since this morning), on the new DME that we purchased

After then customer came back this time with car shaking problem.

But last week, a friend of me that works at dealer, confirmed that the first ECU is working correctly and hasn't any issue.

If the car starts with his 1st original ecu, probably also tuned, it will be get restored to original, I tought doing it by write ori map bak by Ktag?

But I also have Ista and the Enet cable but not a big genius with it...

That's not B47 engine. That is petrol.
Hope the bad tuning didn't ruin engine already.

Anyways, previous original dme flash will work plug and play, because it should already have original long ISN in eeprom. I wouldn't touch eeprom.

Yes you're right, engine code isn't B47, my bad..

So it isn't gonna give an issue about immo, rolling code or similar, what I was concerning about..

I update as soon we have more

RE: BMW F32 Ecu trouble B47D20A - Enabled - 04-02-2019

No issues with immo. There are no more dme rolling immo codes in cars with 128-bit long ISN.
