[Solved] NBT Evo retrofit, but screen is black/no signal - ds2k - 06-03-2019
I installed Evo into my E70, did coding and FDL coding to head unit, but the screen was black or showed NO SIGNAL. Please help me to investigate and fix the issue.
My retrofit info:
NBT Evo HU: Model B210 HW4.1, part 8718146, date 14/18, donor G11
CID: BMW LG CID 10.25, part 6816387, date 02/02/2018
Adapter: Car systems
I attach the Tool32 fs_lessen result and CID_DISPLAY coding parameters (resulting black screen).

Fault says Energymode Active
So use Esys and turn it off

Hello. So far I have made something work:
- Evo is lived and touch screen worked
- Full custom set of FSCs
- Map updated to my area, navigation and GPS works well
- CarPlay full screen, BMW Apps
- FM radio, USB hires FLAC music and bluray remux movie playing fullscreen
Remains:
- Idrive knob not work. I have 3 knobs: CIC, NBT, NBT Evo, none work for me. I am not able to solve myself.
- Microphone (in the ceiling) seems not work. Will check wiring.
- Still could not control HUD position and brightness. Will buy optic fibre cable and harness to make it done.
- Non-oem surrounding camera stopped appearing on display. Will buy KCAN2 ICAM for that.
- Video in Motion not activated. Need Idrive knob working to activate it.
I stuck with Idrive knob. Checked wiring but the wiring seems correct. Do you have any ideas to check and make it work?
Edited: GPS is working well now with no fixing, Mic worked after check wiring.

I think the unity. it is not properly codified, ..
if it comes from da GX, kcan2 controller does not work, and needs coding, (in some cases flash)

Yes it came from G11. How can I detect the KCAN2 from Car Systems work or not work. BTW, that adapter and NBT Idrive knob worked well with normal NBT set.
