RE: VAS5054A PCB Difference - prospeed - 02-12-2017 You need 1608 (0603) its long 1.6mm and wide 0.8mm its the same size as the one marked in the pic, RE: VAS5054A PCB Difference - apoelistas - 03-12-2017 Thanks mate: To summarize replies the 2 missing capacitors are: 100 nF SMD Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor 10V Size: 1608 (0603) X7R with better heat characteristics. (up to 125oC) RE: VAS5054A PCB Difference - prospeed - 03-12-2017 That should do just fine, I’ve got 6 vas5054 from different sellers and all of them came with these capacitors soldered and never had to buy them otherwise would’ve give you link. What else did you replace on the pcb, I see that you’ve soldered good RAM chips 5v, what about A5780 and TJA1054 are they original? RE: VAS5054A PCB Difference - apoelistas - 03-12-2017 I have the all hardware parts (except flux) but I could not test the vas5054a because my 12V adaptor does not power up. Need to buy a multimeter to see what is wrong. This good quality vas5054a (with original bluetooth) has some fake chips but the memory capacitors are there. It is still on hold and unused. No progress. I purchased another vas5054a which needs less rework at 2/3 of the cost (only the 2 memory capacitors missing) but all other chips are original (except Bluetooth but reported that is working with odis-e by another member). Waiting to be delivered. Made in 2012. RE: VAS5054A PCB Difference - prospeed - 03-12-2017 Sounds good, post some pics once you’ve got it or PM me link to take a look if possible RE: VAS5054A PCB Difference - apoelistas - 03-12-2017 I will as soon it arrives. Pictures already posted by another member but on a new thread. I will try to find the link http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=30269 What is your opinion?? RE: VAS5054A PCB Difference - prospeed - 03-12-2017 Ram oki and tja look ok from what he posted as pics but cant tell for sure until he post more pics from the other side of the pcb.
