cas2 how to connect on xprog - Fx82 - 15-04-2019
Does someone has a picture on how to connect xprog to a cas 2 module? (2K79X)
I'm using the xprog adapter 1-002-0017.
I've soldered the wires exactly on the board as for use with a R270+ reader.
On the xprog program I can only find diagrams to connect it directly on the eeprom.

And that does not work? At the back move the connection to the nearest resistor from the pad point. I noticed this was the difference between R270 and other programmers. Still I was able to read and write without that single connection at the back!! But that was with vvdi prog.

I made the connection from cas2 to xprog but I now get the "device is silent" error.

Xprog clone or original? Have you used that xprog before successfully. I started with xprog clones, two of them and threw them away because of this device silent issue.

How you can work your device, press the "hardware info" button.
At the time of the query the LED on xprog will light up!
Try this query several times in a row!
If all your attempts are successful, you can be sure that your device is working!

I checked the hardware info 10 times and it gives no error. Looks like to xprog is working.
When I connect it to the cas2 module with an adapter it show the status monitor window with the message "Bypass security" after a couple of minutes it shows the message "device silent".
