Am I reading right??? - Andru8 - 26-07-2014

I'm new to the forums,I've come to research vida/vice for my volvo C30 D5. I have just had it remapped to 215BHP at a cost of £385. I'm very very impressed with it but now extremely disappointed.

Am I right in thinking you guys are remapping anyone's car for just a 'Thanks'

What equipment do I need to read the ecu original map for my car. I plan to fit a new free flow exhaust and remove the DPF at a later date and would like it boosted to 235BHP.

This forum makes fascinating reading,my eyes have certainly been opened,

Thanks

I'm looking for a torrent for the latest 2014 vida for my Volvo as well if you could help.

Thanks again.

Look on other thread how member ask for help...If anyone has a solution to your problem will certainly help you.A name of your thread, many will not even look at.

And not nice on your side if you think here on forum you will get maps only for a "thanks".every good tunning for vehicles cost a lot of money,a good map you do not get free.Maybe you will if you're a good member if you help other members if you deserve it.And do not think that us money falling from the sky. No one asks us how we paid good original tools.. Some of tunning tools cost over 10 000euro what with them??You're new to the forum and read it will be clear how things are going, some member will get more help and some less, all on merit.Do not bring too early conclude because you are not right smile

RE: Am I reading right??? - Andru8 - 26-07-2014

I'm sorry if I seem to offended anyone I certainly didn't want to come across that way

I certainly do not want a remap for the price of a thanks and I know how much time it takes to learn this trade and the cost of the tools to do this. In my first post I stated I have paid £385 for my remap and was completely satisfied with the price and the performance. In fact it came as a self install in which I did in a matter of minutes,it was money well spent and has transformed my car.

Next time I will think a little more carefully before I ask/comment.

Cheers
